We were disappointed to have to postpone the Friends annual meeting on Fri 20th March, due to coronavirus. We hope that all Friends will remain safe and well. The business which should have been resolved at that meeting (approving the accounts and the annual report) has been done by email circulation to all Friends. Thank you for supporting this. We hope to hold the 5th Annual meeting on Fri 6th Nov (coronavirus restrictions permitting) and will be inviting Donald Meek to talk to us then.
The 4th Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Argyll Papers will take place in the Nicol Hall, Inveraray on Friday 20 March 2020. A short business meeting will be followed by our guest speaker, Donald Meek, who will be talking about his recent research in the Argyll Papers: ‘From Joint-Tenant Farms to Crofts in Caolas, Tiree: the evidence of the Argyll Papers’.
We will continue the craic over lunch, adjourning to The George at around 1.00pm.
